Four Finger Rule FAQs

What is the Four Finger Rule?

A practical way to prepare useful conversations, listen for key information, and adapt when plans change. You practise real tasks instead of trying to learn an entire language at once.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. Begin with one polite request and one useful goal. Later lessons ask you to change details and become more independent.

Is it only for travel?

No. The method also supports everyday work, study, and digital tasks. Practise emergency language in a safe role-play; use local emergency services when you need urgent help.

Will it guarantee fluency?

No. The aim is practical independence and useful communication. Progress depends on your practice and opportunities to use the language.

What is included?

The Master Edition PDF, complete 52-week practice course, and a Passport tracker for Weeks 13–52. Read the course preview.

How much does it cost?

The planned launch price is US$52 as a one-time payment. Enrollment remains closed while checkout and delivery are completed.

How do I get the files?

Purchase downloads will appear in the order email and account when enrollment opens. Unzip the course package and open Complete_52_Week_Practice_Course.html. Keep a local copy for practice.

Are weekly emails active?

Not yet. The complete course package contains all 52 weeks, so it can be followed at your own pace. Scheduled lesson emails are still being configured.

Can I try a lesson first?

Week 1 is free, including a worked conversation, preparation sheet, ten-minute routine, and self-check.

Can I work with Colin?

Send a coaching inquiry with your goal and availability. Private sessions are separate from the course.

Where do I get support?
